Kat Hammil


Prior to founding Goodesign, Kathryn worked as a designer at Matsumoto Incorporated in New York City. Her projects included designing a 500+ page monograph for artist Francesco Clemente to coincide with his retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum, creating collateral material for luxury glass manufacturer Steuben, and developing a comprehensive identity system for Maharam, an award-winning textile company. Kathryn has also worked on extensive identity projects for clients ranging from ESPN to Citigroup. Kathryn received her BFA in Communication Design from Parsons The New School for Design. In addition to working at Goodesign, Kathryn has taught at NYU, Parsons and FIT.

 

Diane Shaw

Prior to founding Goodesign, Diane worked for internationally renowned designer Tibor Kalman at his studio, M & Co. There she managed a broad array of projects including product development for the Museum of Modern Art, designing covers and articles for The New York Times Magazine, and creating collateral material for modern furniture company, Vitra. Diane also worked at Number 17, where she assisted in the creation and design of the prototype and premiere issue of Conde Nast’s Lucky Magazine. Diane received her BFA in Communication Design from Parsons The New School for Design. In addition to working at Goodesign, Diane has enjoyed teaching graphic design at Parsons and NYU.
